The Power of Overtones

In 1992 I attended an extraordinary gathering in Prague, Czechoslovakia — the 12th Annual International Transpersonal Conference. One of the most compelling presenters for me was Jill Purce, author of The Mystic Spiral and a master of overtone chanting. I later studied with her so I too could create overtones with my voice.

At the conference, Jill stepped up to the microphone and said, “This is what I do.” The amazing sound that proceeded to fill the hall was much like what you will hear on this video clip.
